Washington Iron Works Presses
Northwest Dryer & Machinery has manufactured all of the components of Washington Iron Works presses for over 30 years.
We stock the most commonly used parts for immediate delivery and carry an extensive selection of simo components on our shelves, ready to ship when you need them.
We also stock Simo Cylinders, Lifting Lugs, Rod Ends, etc... as well as all of the bearings in the entire simo system.
Northwest Dryer has built several complete new Hydraulic Simo Systems - each resulting in dramatic reductions in pre-sanding board thicknesses and an average ROI of less than 1 year.

Northwest Dryer has a 47,000 square foot CNC equipped machine shop dedicated to your machining and fabrication needs.
Our large vertical mill can drill, tap and finish 40' X 10' steel plates for your press.
We have a 60' lathe that can handle material 4' in diameter.
Our ten CNC machines are staffed by in-house programmers and experienced machinists to create any custom or hard-to-get parts you need to keep your production going.
We can even create CNC part programs from broken parts!
